A password should be secure and therefore meet specific requirements. Here are some things to consider:
- The password must be at least eight characters long.
- Upper and lower case letters as well as special characters and numbers (?!%+…) also help to protect your account.
- Ideally, special characters should neither be placed at the beginning nor at the end of your password.
- Further, do not use names, dates of birth and so on.
- If possible, the word you have chosen should not appear in the dictionary.
- Also, avoid common keyboard patterns, e.g. qwertz or 1234abcd.
